WOW! I got the email from Roland yesterday saying the book was ready to go so I placed my order and less than twenty fours hours it was sitting in my mailbox and Im in Virginia. What a layout, great pics and a great bio from Roland. This will keep you busy for a long time to come for sure.

Now if only a bender version would come out... ( hint hint )

Just got mine---cool pictures. Clarence had gone electric a lot earlier than I thought--there's a picture of him with his new Les Paul in 1956.

CLARIFICATION Confused
Okay....for those who have ordered the book, and without I guess knowing what exactly it was dedicated to/for, and were a little disappointed...This is a book on Clarence's Bluegrass music (which he then carried a lot of his bluegrass style/syncopation, over to the B-Bender/electric.) I mentioned this under the topic "Books" earlier this morning. Roland called me early this morning to see if my copies had arrived yet and mentioned that he was not receiving good comments...well that is the way I took it. So........ to those that bought it and are disappointed or whatever...I'm sorry. Roland does not know much about Clarence's electric playing days. He cannot write about the history of those days nor compose the tab sheets(?) for Clarence's music. He would like to do something along that line, he had mentioned briefly to me once, but cannot pay someone to put this kind of book together. Therefore I'm not sure what to say about this situation. I had hoped that everyone here would be interested and appreciate this part of Clarence's life. I hope I am not offending anyone by what I am saying. I just want to make a clarification before anyone else orders the book. For those who are into Clarence's acoustic guitar time in his life put your order in and spread the word. Thanks and love to all you wonderful fans:wink:
