this is a 27 minute video of Marty's weekly show, this one features Hummingbyrd and a little tribute time for Clarence, then McGuinn comes on, they do Old Blue, Pretty Boy Floyd, and Turn Turn Turn. For certain nice long moments in this vid, sure does sound like the king/. Marty may not be able to do everything Clarence could do but wow, superlative, he is so f..'in' great on stringbender. there are a few other tunes not involving the stringbender or Roger, they are charming too.

hope you can take the time to watch. if you spool thru all the shows' vid clips, they are actually all old shows, around 27 minutes each with ads deleted. different guests. there is much bender content. any time you see the Clarence guitar, you know he will probably do the b-bending.

"Blue" stands out, to me, as the strongest song on the show, although it is all great.

In the "Did Marty Sell His Soul," thread, people are comparing Marty and Clarence's style. Both are great, but if you want to hear a great example of their differences, listen to any of Clarence's tracks of "Turn," and then listen to Marty's version on the video. Marty's timing and banjo rolls (I know that's not what they are) are much more "square," for lack of a better term. Still great.

I'm always amazed at the Superlative's talent.
