Ive been messing around with the versaion of "Buckaroo" on the tough and Stringy CD.....particularly the last verse, where Clarence does the steel part...Im having trouble with the lick on the V chord at the end of the first half of the verse..an accending lick on the A chord....anybody have that figured out?

I know you posted this over a year ago Don but did you ever have any luck working out the ascending lick on the A chord? Cos I've got stuck at that exact point too, I can't figure it out! It's really bugging me.

I can play that part with the bender... So it's either played with a bender on that track or it's Fender pedal steel..

The Tuff & Stringy version of Buckaroo is pre-bender (right?) so I guess it must be pedal steel in that bit...

I don't know for sure if one can assume that it was pre-bender though. In any case it's not played with fingers only...
